Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.epileptic patients scheduled for placement of intracranial stereoelectrodes ; 2.children aged 1-16 years who can have simple communication with investigators; 3.planning to implant intracranial stereoelectrodes in epileptic foci located in frontal or temporal lobe; 4.informed consent was signed by parents of participants.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.not planning to place intracranial stereoelectrodes in frontal lobe; 2.allergic to propofol or beans; 3.already participated in other clinical trials; 4.not suitabe for inclusion judged by investigators; 5.refusal to sign informed consent.
