Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients requiring invasive arterial monitoring under general anesthesia. Aged 18-65 years old, BMI<30.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smoking history, poorly controlled diabetes, poorly controlled hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, severe hepatic and renal insufficiency, emergency surgery, and positive modified Allen's test. Infection or trauma at or near the puncture site, history of coagulation, and vascular disease such as vasculitis.
