Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Cross-sectional survey: =60 years of age; (2) Randomized controlled trial: ?=60 years old, Barthel index score =60, able to communicate and walk; ?subjective report of memory or other cognitive decline; ?Simple Mental State Examination Scale (Mini-mental State Examination, MMSE) test score related to education level, inclusion criteria were: illiterate =19 points, elementary school = 22 points, junior high school and above = 26 points; ? a diagnosis of dementia had not been reached; ? pre-frailty or frailty assessed according to Fried criteria and the availability of relatives/caregivers to assist with motor monitoring.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: include, but are not limited to, the following: subject has any contraindication to physical exercise or testing; myocardial infarction in the past 3 months; angina pectoris; cancer; arrhythmia; unstable cardiovascular disease or other unstable medical condition; arterial hypertension; recent pulmonary thromboembolism; upper or lower extremity fracture within the past 3 months; and unwillingness to complete study requirements.
