Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Case group enrollment criteria: (1) age range: 12-17 years old; (2) DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for diagnosis of major depressive disorder; (3) First episode, not systematically taking antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs; (4) right-handed; (5) The subject and guardian fully understand the content of the study, are willing to participate in and cooperate with the completion of the study, and sign the informed consent form; 2. Admission criteria for healthy subjects: (1) age range: 12-17 years old; (2) HAMD< 7; (3) No history of mental disorders and family history; (4) right-handed; (5) The subject and guardian fully understand the content of the study, are willing to participate and cooperate in completing the study, and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for case group and healthy subjects: (1) meet the diagnosis of mental disorders (the case group meets the diagnosis of bipolar disorder); (2) Have a history of substance dependence or comorbid other mental disorders, such as mental retardation, ASD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, etc.; (3) Brain trauma, epilepsy or other brain organic diseases; (4) Have serious physical diseases and metabolic disorders; (5) Those who cannot complete the inspection for other reasons. 2. Criteria for case group exit during the follow-up period: 1) those with serious adverse events; 2) Those who need medical intervention due to physical diseases or other reasons; 3) Mania or hypomania, which meets the diagnostic criteria for bipolar disorder;
