Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Assessment section: Alcohol use disorder group: ? meeting the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for alcohol use disorder; ? age 18-65 years; ? gender male; ? normal visual acuity or corrected visual acuity; ? elementary school education or above; ? no serious physical illness or significant psychiatric disorder; ? no significant drug reaction or withdrawal reaction; ? able to participate and willing to provide informed consent to participate in the study for alcohol use disorder. Social drinking group(Drinking alcohol for at least 6 months in the past year, and drinking alcohol at least once a month, but not meeting the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for alcohol use disorder): ? Age, gender, and education matched the alcohol use disorder group; ?Able to participate and willing to provide informed consent to participate in the study. Non-drinking group (non-drinking means not drinking more than once a month in the past 12 months): ? Age, gender, and education level matched the alcohol use disorder group. ?Able to participate and willing to provide informed consent to participate in the study. Intervention component: ? Age, gender, and education level matched to the alcohol use disorder group. ?Able to participate and willing to provide informed consent to participate in the study. ?Meet DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for alcohol use disorder; ?Age 18-65 years; ?Gender male; ?Normal visual acuity or corrected visual acuity; ?Education level above elementary school; ?No serious physical illness or significant mental disorder; ?No significant drug reaction or withdrawal reaction; able to participate and willing to provide informed consent to participate in the study; ?No significant physical withdrawal reaction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria for both the assessment and intervention components were: ? polypharmacy (use with other illicit psychotropic drugs and at least twice a month for six months within the past two years.) ? history of psychiatric disorders or family history of psychiatric disorders; ? history of epilepsy; ? serious physical illness, physical disability, such as blindness; ? major medical illness requiring regular medication.
