Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) meet the diagnostic criteria of both Western generalized anxiety disorder (diagnosed by a psychiatric practitioner) and TCM syndrome of blood deficiency and liver heat; (2) 14 points =HAMA<29 points; (3) Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-17) score <7; (4) 18 years = age =65 years; (5) Sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with severe anxiety whose HAMA score =29; (2) Anxiety attacks secondary to other mental or physical diseases and accompanied by severe psychotic symptoms; (3) Patients with substance use disorders (including addiction or abuse of alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, sedatives, psychoactive drugs, etc.); (4) Patients with severe heart, liver and renal insufficiency were considered unsuitable for this study; (5) Used anti-anxiety, anti-depression and other psychotropic drugs in the last month (fluoxetine within 4 weeks); (6) Pregnant or lactating women; (7) Allergic to test drugs and ingredients;
