Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. all children met the diagnostic criteria for ADHD in the American Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition (DSM-V); 2. were between the ages of 5 and 12 years; 3.All subjects signed an informed consent form. 4.none had taken any medication for ADHD before enrollment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (i) those who had left compulsory education; (ii) those with comorbid mental retardation or substance abuse; (iii) those with severe physical illnesses, chronic infections, and other psychiatric disorders; (iv) childhood schizophrenia, childhood mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, conduct disorders, tic disorders, and other co-morbid disorders.
