Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Chinese speaking children between the ages of 6-12; (2) studying in a local school; (3) diagnosed with ADHD by criteria from Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV), using the Diagnostic Interview Schedule for Children (DISC-IV) or clinically diagnosed by developmental pediatricians or clinical psychologists/psychiatrists; (4) both the participants and caregivers/parents are willing to wear a sleep ring device on their finger during sleep for a week at baseline (T0), after completion of interventions (T1), and during follow-up (T2).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) acute/chronic diseases that may affect engagement in mindful movement; (2) Tanner stage 3 or above evaluated by a modified Chinese version of the Tanner stages questionnaire; (3) receiving treatment or drugs that can affect sleep and other outcomes; (4) regularly participating in mind-body training such as tai chi, yoga, qigong, or using meditation (>2 times weekly for >60 minutes per session).
