Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients aged 18 or above who are admitted to the ICU for the first time; (2) Patients with a junior high school education or above who can actively cooperate; (3) Patients with stable vital signs and are conscious, with a Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS) score of less than +/-2; (4) Patients expected to stay in the ICU for at least 12 hours.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with hearing impairment, dementia, epilepsy, coma, or visual impairment; (2) Patients with a history of mental illness or those affected by anesthesia or sedative drugs that affect communication and response; (3) Patients who do not understand Mandarin Chinese; (4) Patients with a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of less than 13; (5) Patients with delirium confirmed by the Confusion Assessment Method for the ICU (CAM-ICU).
