Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age: 18-70 years old; (2) Good general condition: no diabetes and other periodontal-related systemic diseases; (3) Living habits: daily smoking is less than 10 cigarettes; (4) Good oral hygiene: the plaque index of the whole mouth is less than 25%; (5) The periodontal condition is stable: periodontal probing bleeding index is less than 25%; (6) Good compliance: able to understand the purpose of this experiment and sign the informed consent form; (7) Diagnostic features: A. Radiological examination shows that the alveolar bone of one root of the mandibular molar is severely resorbed (greater than or equal to 3/4 of the root), and the other root is lightly resorbed (less than 1/2 of the root); B. The attachment loss is greater than or equal to 6mm; C. The degree of looseness is acceptable (less than degree II); D. There can be tooth defects, but the teeth after hemisection can support crown restoration; E. Pulp status can be either viable or dead, with no diffuse periapical inflammation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) pregnant or breastfeeding; (2) Those who are allergic to the materials used in the treatment (3) The thickness of the gingiva is less than 2mm, and the width of the keratinized gingiva is less than 2mm; (4) Insufficient bone in other parts of the implant site except for the bone defect in the adjacent root: buccolingual bone plate thickness < 6 mm; distance between the future implant and the adjacent natural tooth root < 2 mm; occlusal distance between the edentulous restoration space < 4.5 mm; future distance to important anatomical structures <2mm. (5) Severe bite problems.
