Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The children aged 6-12 years, had no history of orthodontic treatment or cleft lip and palate surgery; 2. Clinical diagnosis of children with insufficient transverse arch width; 3. All children and their guardians are willing to cooperate, and the children's intellectual development is normal; 4. The control group were children of the same age in the community with normal occlusal relationship and transverse arch width.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient was unable to participate in this project due to severe systemic diseases; 2. The patient has participated in other clinical trials within 1 month; 3. Patients with severe autism and depression; 4. Patients are not suitable to participate in the study for other reasons or withdraw by themselves.
