Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 18 years; (2) Meet the Western medical diagnostic criteria for carotid atherosclerosis; (3) Meet the TCM diagnostic criteria for Kidney Deficiency syndrome; (4) Voluntary participation in this study and ability to understand the content of the questionnaire; (5) Carotid stenosis rate <75%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Participation in other clinical studies; (2) Presence of serious illnesses that affect survival; (3) Tuberculosis and other infectious diseases; (4) Use of other lipid-lowering Chinese herbal medicines or Chinese patent medicines.
