Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Echocardiographic or CMR demonstration of unexplained LVH (the maximal end-diastolic wall thickness of =15 mm anywhere in the LV and =13 mm in participants with family history of HCM); 2. Aged =18 years, voluntary participation and ability to sign informed consent; 3. Ability to complete CMR, ultrasound and other inspections;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Metabolic or multi-organ syndrome associated with LVH such as amyloid cardiomyopathy, sarcoidosis, Fabry disease, Danon disease, or Noonan’s syndrome; 2. Sever systemic hypertension or/and severe aortic stenosis (<1 cm2) 3. Severe renal insufficiency (estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) = 30 ml/min per 1.73 m2); 4. Contraindications to CMR include defibrillators, pacemakers, severe claustrophobia, intraocular metals, intracranial aneurysm clips and certain metals. 5. Diabetes with end organ damage; 6. Malignant tumor patients with a life expectancy of less than 5 years; 7. Pregnant, planning to become pregnant within 5 years, and mental disorder.
