Interventions

The control group:The catheter was lubricated with paraffin oil to lubricate the indwelling catheter
Test group A:The catheter was smeared with compound lidocaine gel for indwelling catheterization
Test group B:The indwelling catheterization is lubricated by continuous pumping of water for injection (normal saline) through the front of the catheter
Test group C:Lubricating indwelling catheterization with 2% lidocaine injection by continuous pump in front of catheter

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) For adult male patients who need catheterization, clinical practice has proved that the incidence of pain during indwelling catheter is much higher in men than in women; 2) Patients aged 18-70 years old with high school education or above can express their emotions and feelings more clearly, which is beneficial to ensure the accuracy of experimental data collection; 3) Ethical, patients and authorized clients volunteered to participate in the study and signed informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) those with a history of psychiatric disorders, cognitive impairment, or inability to complete the pain assessment form; 2) patients with severe chronic diseases, heart and lung and other important organ dysfunction; 3) urinary tract infection, severe urinary tract stenosis, and severe hyperplasia of anterior symphysis; 4) known to be allergic to lidocaine or paraffin oil; 5) patients with other diseases (such as cancer) that affect the pain threshold, or those who have used analgesics in the past 24 hours
