Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 18 years; 2. With a history of stroke (including ischemic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebral hemorrhage, or other types of stroke) or imaging evidence of a stroke (including lacunar infarction) when admission; 3. Under non-cardiac and non-neuro surgery; 4. Patients agreed to join in this research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Outpatient clinic surgery; 2) acute stroke; 3) Poor hearing, vision or language barrier impeding cognitive assessment; 4) History of schizophrenia; 5) With cognitive dysfunction, e.g. coma or dementia 6) Participate in other research. 7) ASA = 4; 8) Other reasons excluded that researchers approved, the reasons should be record in CRF.
