Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for depression and is diagnosed as an MDD patient; 2. Subject HAMD>=18 points (Melzer et al., 2012) or MADRS>=20 points (M ü ller et al., 2003); The Chinese version of the Mood Disorder Questionnaire (MDQ) scores less than 7. 3. Using Concise International Psychiatric Interview 7.0.0 (M.I.N.I.7.0.0) to confirm that the subject is currently MDD; 4. No gender limit, aged 18-65 years old; 5. Subjects who understand and are willing to strictly follow the clinical trial protocol to complete this trial and sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging and TMS; 2. Severe physical and neurological diseases; 3. Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, history of abuse of tobacco, alcohol, and other psychoactive substances; 4. The patient is a pregnant or lactating woman or a planned pregnancy; 5. Take immune modulators and hormone preparations within at least six months, and antipyretic and analgesic drugs within two weeks; 6. Researchers believe that it is not suitable to include individuals.
