Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The inclusion criteria of depression group were as follows: (1) meeting DSM-IV diagnostic criteria for depression; (2) Age 18-55 years old; (3) the right hand; (4) The total score of HAMD24 is greater than 21; (5) no antidepressants or antipsychotics, or at least 6 months off the drugs. 2. Healthy control group: (1) Age 18-55 years old; (2) Open the right hand; (3) no history of mental illness; (4) No mental disorder or hereditary mental system disease in first-degree relatives.1

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria of depression group and healthy control group were as follows: 1. there were contraindications for MRI examination; 2. accompanied by neurological diseases or serious, unstable physical diseases; 3. With other mental diseases, including other mental disorders in line with the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV axis I and personality disorders and mental development disorders in line with the diagnostic criteria of axis II; 4. The woman who is pregnant or nursing.
