Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Five healthy subjects aged 60 years were randomly selected. First each subject completed a survey on past medical history, age and gender and underwent a general health screening assessment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects were excluded if they had any of the following medical histories: spinal cord injury, herniated disc, concussion, brain injury, ocular trauma, visual impairment, glaucoma, respiratory disease, high resting blood pressure (> 160 mmHg systolic, > 90 mmHg diastolic), ECG abnormalities (S-T suppression, > 3 consecutive ectopic beats) and MCAV not obtained by TCD were excluded.
