Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Patients with acute ischemic stroke caused by the symptomatic ICAD,aged = 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Any potential cardiac embolus; ? Infarction caused by small vessel disease; ? Infarction caused by extracranial atherosclerosis (= 50% stenosis of ipsilateral extracranial vessels); ? Infarction caused by other causes; ? Interventional surgery for intracranial artery stenosis has been performed or is planned to be performed; ? Known intracranial tumor, arteriovenous malformation or aneurysm; ? MRI examination is contraindicated; ? Life expectancy is less than 3 months due to any serious or life-threatening complication.
