Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The population recruited is between the ages of 18 and 85 years in the outpatient population, where colonoscopy is performed for screening or diagnostic purposes.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Intestinal obstruction, bowel obstruction or perforation, toxic megacolon associated with severe inflammatory bowel disease, gastroparesis, documented history of cancer or any other colonic disease causing mucosal fragility; 2. Functional classification system class III or IV congestive heart failure; 3. Severe renal insufficiency, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, phenylketonuria, and exclusion of cases where polyps have been found.
