Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with age between 18 and 75 years, American Society of Anesthesiologists status ? to ?, undergoing hepatectomy,BMI<35

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: the inability to consent to the study, preexisting neuropathy of the brachial plexus, coagulopathy, allergy to ropivacaine, diaphragmatic disorders, cardiopulmonary disorders, and opioid tolerance(>30mg oral morphine or equivalent per day)
