18 Years to 89 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) patients diagnosed with sepsis which should meet the diagnostic criteria of sepsis 3.0; (2) First time to stay in the ICU; (3) The ICU stay = 24h.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with acute brain injury (e.g., meningitis, encephalitis, status epilepticus, traumatic brain injury or stroke); (2) Previous liver and kidney failure which may affect consciousness; (3) Recently received cardiac resuscitation; (4) Long-term alcoholism or drug abuse.
