Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pediatric patients aged 1 to 18 who accepted elective adenoidectomy with and without tonsillectomy under general anesthesia by a same surgeon from January 2019 to July 2021.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with America Society Anesthesiologist (ASA) physical classification score above 2; not resuscitated in the Postanesthetic Care Unit; with missing data of primary outcomes were excluded.
