Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Patients with untreated HCC were aged =18 years; (2)informed consent obtained form all patients; (3)histologically or radiologically-proven HCC at IIb or IIIa stage according to Diagnosis, management and treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(V2017); (4)baseline MDCT were performed 2 weeks prior to DEB-TACE procedure; (5)platelet count=50*109/L; (6)without a history of upper gastrointestinal bleeding; (7)patients without liver abscess or systemic sepsis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Patient with poor liver function (Child-Pugh C) or extrahepatic metastases; (2)pregnant or breast feeding patient; (3)poor general condition or cachexia with short life expectancy; (4)severe hepatic or renal failure.
