Interventions
dexmedetomidine group:Intravenous continuous infusion of Dexmedetomidine at 0.3-0.5 µg/kg/h until 15-30 minutes before the end of surgery.
Control group:Intravenous infusion of an equal volume of normal saline during surgery.

18 Years to 75 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with esophageal cancer who have undergone esophagectomy and radical lymphadenectomy; 2. ASA I-III; 3. Age 18-75 ; 4. BMI: 18.5 <= BMI < 25kg/m2; 5. Esophageal cancer stage cT1-3/N0-1, no evidence of distant metastasis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindications to epidural anesthesia; 2. Contraindications to the infusion of dexmedetomidine; 3. History of other malignant diseases; 4. Severe major organ dysfunction(Severe impairment of heart, lung, liver, and kidney functions); 5. Moderate and severe anemia; 6. Karnofsky index of < 80; 7. Receiving surgery and general anesthesia within 1 year.
