Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ? Elective radical esophagectomy, postoperative transfer to the care unit patients ? Age = 18 years ? No severe visual or hearing impairment (diplopia, low vision due to macular degeneration, retinopathy, severe retardation or deafness) ? Patients volunteered to be tested and signed the informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ? Known psychiatric disorders associated with delusions (e.g., schizophrenia, dementia) ? Recent history of major depressive disorder ? No epidural analgesia ? Patient unable to cooperate ? ASA grade > III ? RASS score < 0 at the time of admission
