Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ? meeting the Western medical diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis, ? meeting the Western medical diagnostic criteria for primary total knee arthroplasty, ? age of the patient was =50 years, ? body mass index (BMI) was =30, ? the surgical approach used was the anterior midline incision of the knee joint, ? presence of postoperative numbness of the skin around the surgical site, and ? signing of informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ?patients who underwent secondary knee replacement surgery, ?patients who had pre-existing numbness in the knee joint area, ?patients with peripheral nerve diseases or skin diseases, ?patients who experienced non-normal healing such as wound effusion or infection after surgery, and ?patients with type I or type II diabetes
