Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the AS case group(1) Inclusion criteria: ? The patients should meet the consensus criteria for diagnosis and treatment of head and neck atherosclerosis in China. ? AS patients confirmed by cervical vascular ultrasound and head and neck CTA. Carotid intima thickened when THE IMT was greater than 0.1cm in cervical vascular ultrasound. In CTA, lumen stenosis < 50% was mild stenosis, 50-69% was moderate stenosis, and more than 70% was severe stenosis. Criteria for healthy control group: patients with AS, hypertension, diabetes, acute cerebral infarction, malignant tumor, craniocerebral trauma and severe infection were excluded after medical history inquiry,physical examination, laboratory examination and imaging examination.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of bleeding or other disorders such as vascular malformation, stroke, tumor, abscess, or other major non-ischemic brain disorders (such as multiple sclerosis) on head based CT or MRI in patients with myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, and congestive heart failure pregnant or lactating women. Those who could not cooperate and had incomplete clinical data were excluded.
