Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: (1) Primary adult informal caregivers of people with dementia, including family members or friends without payment; (2) Providing = 10 hours of face-to-face care per week to PwD in the community; (3) Living with PwD who has had a dementia diagnosis for more than 1 month; (4) Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ)-9 (depressive symptom) = 5; (5) Chinese speaker who can read text; and (6) Currently using text or voice functions of WeChat instant messaging app and agreeing to join this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria (1) Diagnosis of psychiatric disease; (2) Currently participating in any type of psychological intervention (e.g., cognitive behavioural therapy); and (3) PHQ-9 = 20 (i.e., severe depressive symptom).
