1 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients who have sequential bilateral cochlear implantation; 2) The cochlear structures are normal; 3) Patients who were diagnosed as bilateral severe to profound SNHL before two years old; 4) Both parents are normal hearing listeners; 5) No serious cognitive or behavioral defects.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who have cochlear malformation (excepting large vestibular aqueduct malformation); 2) Patients who have cochlear nerve dysplasia; 3) Patients who have auditory neuropathy; 4) Patients who have cochlear ossification; 5) Patients who do not wear their second cochlear implant for a long time; 6) Patients who were diagnosed as prelingual deafness.
