1 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients who were diagnosed as bilateral severe to profound SNHL before three years old; 2)Patients who got cochlear implantation after 16 years old; 3) The SIR grade was lower than 3; 4) Patients who use their cochlear implant more than six hours each day; 5)The cochlear structures are normal; 6) Patients without cochlear nerve deficiency or auditory neuropathy; 7) Both parents are normal hearing listeners; 8) No serious cognitive or behavioral defects.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who have cochlear malformation (excepting large vestibular aqueduct malformation); 2) Patients who have cochlear nerve dysplasia; 3) Patients who have auditory neuropathy; 4) Patients who have cochlear ossification; 5) Patients who do not wear their cochlear implant
