18 Years to 75 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-75 years; 2. Presence of cirrhosis; 3. Upper endoscopy confirmed EV or gastric varices; 4. Receive Endoscopic therapy or tips were performed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with liver cirrhosis and liver cancer confirmed by CT or MRI, histopathology, or other malignant tumors such as gastric cancer and pancreatic cancer confirmed by histopathology; 2. Child Pugh score > 12; 3. Patients with cirrhosis complicated with systemic lupus erythematosus, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and other inflammatory bowel diseases; Patients with cirrhosis and hematological diseases; 4. Severe cardiopulmonary dysfunction; 5. Have a history of drinking alcohol, or use of antibiotics and probiotics in the past month; 6. Suffer from neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and non-hepatic metabolic encephalopathy; 7. Use of antipsychotic drugs, such as antidepressants or sedatives; 8. Patients with a history of overt hepatic encephalopathy; 9. Pregnant or lactating women; 10. Patients who were considered by the investigator to be ineligible for inclusion.
