Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 10 normal weight and 10 obese subjects aged 18-45 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diseases with abnormal weight due to endocrine hormone abnormalities: hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, hypoadrenocorticism, adrenocorticolism, hypothalamic disorders; 2. Patients with diabetes mellitus and severe hyperlipidemia with poor blood glucose control; 3. Those with confirmed diagnosis of any neoplastic disease; 4. Chronic kidney disease or severely impaired renal function, defined as blood creatinine greater than 2.0 mg/dL; 5. Serum ALT greater than 3 times the upper limit of normal; 6. Currently taking weight loss medications or weight-affecting drugs (metformin, GLP-1, orlistat, etc.).
