Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Clinical diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus. 2. Aged > 18 years. 3. Corneal transparency. 4. Confocal microscopy showed decreased corneal nerve density. 5. Corneal sensitivity with or without reduction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Concomitant keratopathy. 2. Glaucoma combined with poor intraocular pressure control. 3. Wear contact lenses for a long time. 4. Corneal trauma. 5. History of corneal refractive surgery. 6. Use eye drops and creams for a long time. 7. Autoimmune diseases. 8. Postoperative craniocerebral nerve injury.
