Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria of sepsis 3.0; 2. Aged > 18 years; 3. Expected ICU stay time > 72h; 4. Participate in the study voluntarily and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with intestinal dysfunction caused by other diseases or surgical operations; 2. Chronic gastrointestinal disease in the past; 3. Recent use of gastrointestinal motility drugs and within 5 times the half-life; 4. Patients with lower limb fracture or amputation due to trauma; 5. Patients with stroke and limited movement of limbs; 6. Patients with a history of neuromuscular disease.
