Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Very low birth weight infants (=1500g) who are intubated within 1h after birth and have been on the ventilator for more than 24h (2) Very low birth weight infants who were intubated outside our facility and have been transferred to our hospital within 1 hour.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Fatal congenital malformations (2) Diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, air leak syndrome, massive pleural effusion (3) Used high frequency ventilation after admission (4) Refusal to participate in the trial
