Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Is able to provide written consent form; 2.Age 18-85 years; 3.No history of radiation therapy; 4.No previous percutaneous treatment including balloon and stent angioplasty, and CEA on the target side; 5.CAS or CEA will be performed on the target side accoding to the best experience of the medical team in charge.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Induced by cardiogenic thrombosis, or atherosclerotic diseases located in the aortic arch, or intracranial circulations; 2.Co-existance of aneurysm in the head and neck; 3.Luminal stenosis=50% in the intracranial segment of internal carotid artery, vertebrobasilar artery, or middle cerebral artery; 4.History of radiation therapy and ipsilateral CEA or CAS; 5.Not suitable for MR imaging, e.g., patients suffered from claustrophobia, with MR non-compatible metal implantation, such as aneurysm clip, cochlear implant, allergy to MR contrast agent; 6.MR compatible metal implantation near the target region; 7.Pregnant patients; 8.Patients with conditions unsuitable for this study.
