Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were age over 18 years, PiCCO2 device (Pulsion Medical systems, Feldkirchen, Germany) already in place,and whose attending physician had decided to infuse 500ml of salineIAH >= 12mmHg,mechanical ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and if fluid administration was contraindicated.
