Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients (>= 18 years old); 2. The estimated mechanical ventilation time is more than 72 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Mechanical ventilation time < 5 days; 2. Immunosuppression (HIV, chronic immunosuppressive drugs, previous organ or blood transplantation, absolute neutrophil count<500 cells/ µl); 3. Have a history of factors that increase blood borne infection (rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, mechanical valve, endocarditis, intravascular graft or permanent intravascular devices such as hemodialysis catheter, pacemaker or defibrillator); 4. Enteral nutrition cannot be or is contraindicated.
