Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Elderly patients: 60-80 years old; 2. Patients with advanced osteoarthritis receiving primary TKA; 3. Informed consent obtained; 4. Ability to complete rehabilitation plan and follow-up assessment within 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Surgical treatment of the lower limb 6 months before and 3 months after this surgery; 2. Serious medical diseases that affect the exercise and the assessment of outcome, e.g. cerebral infarction, heart failure, blood disease; 3. Psychological disorders or neurological problems; 4. Inability to understand the study protocol due to cognitive deficits or language problems; 5. Refuse to participate.
