Group C:Placebo was given 30 minutes before bedtime and 30 minutes before anesthesia the day before operation

60 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 60 years or older, regardless of gender; 2. Patients classified as ASA grade II to III; 3. Patients who undergo elective laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal tumors.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Not having signed an informed consent form; 2. Preoperative Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE) score lower than the lower limit of the corresponding cultural level (illiterate 177µmol/L) or active liver disease; 5. Currently taking sedatives, psychotropic drugs, or melatonin, or having a history of alcoholism; 6. Severe visual or hearing impairment; 7. Routine shift workers; 8. Patients with gastrointestinal tumors accompanied by obstruction; 9. Patients in the acute phase of infection or with systemic autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, inflammatory myopathy, systemic sclerosis, systemic vasculitis, and so on.
