Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ?Age over 18 years old ?The duration of invasive mechanical ventilation is greater than 96h ?Meet the above diagnostic criteria for pneumonia, severe pneumonia, and difficult-to-wean ?Meet the diagnostic criteria for dual deficiency of the lung-spleen pattern in traditional Chinese medicine ? Obtain the consent of the subjects or their family members.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?Currently undergoing extracorporeal membrane oxygenation ?Pregnancy or breastfeeding status ?Pleural effusion occupying more than one-third of the pleural cavity on both sides ?Neuromuscular disease that may affect the respiratory muscles ?Congenital heart disease history ? Obvious congestive heart failure ? Failure to wean due to current hypervolemia ? Pneumothorax, flail chest ? Body mass index = 40kg/m2 ? Subdiaphragmatic infection, known or suspected phrenic nerve paralysis ?Bacteremia (within 48 hours of negative blood culture) ?Current hemodynamic instability (requiring vasopressors), sepsis or septic shock ?Participating in other clinical trials related to mechanical ventilation weaning ?The patient may not be able to continue further treatment in the hospital due to various non-medical reasons ?The patient has no indwelling gastric tube and cannot feed traditional Chinese medicine through the nose ?The patient cannot cooperate with acupuncture due to restlessness and other reasons.
