Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with confirmed colon malignancy with initial clinical diagnosis, clear imaging, cytological diagnosis or pathological diagnosis were 200 cases in the experimental group; another 70 patients with inflammatory bowel disease were taken as the control group. Patients' medical records were perfected: basic information of patients, Chinese medicine diagnosis, Western medicine diagnosis, tumor stage (TMN and clinical stage), tumor site, tumor pathology and metastasis site were available.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who do not meet the diagnostic criteria for primary colon cancer. (2) Incomplete documentation of the clinical history information required for observation. (3) Patients with combined severe cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, or renal diseases and endocrine system diseases. (4) Patients diagnosed but with extracolonic double primary (and above) tumors. (5) Patients who have been diagnosed but have received radiotherapy, targeted and immunotherapy in outside hospitals.
