Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for MPE patients were as follows: 1. Positive cytology of pleural effusion; 2. Tumor cells were detected in pleural biopsy tissue; Inclusion of patients with benign pleural effusion: 1. Tuberculous pleuritis: granuloma was detected in pleural biopsy tissue, and acid-fast staining was positive; Acid fast staining or nucleation culture of pleural effusion was positive. 2. Cardiogenic pleural effusion: The patient had a history of heart failure, heart failure confirmed by color doppler echocardiography, increased BNP, and sensitive to diuretic treatment; 3. Parapneumonic pleural effusion: the patient was clearly diagnosed with pneumonia and was sensitive to antibiotic treatment; 4. Others: pleural effusion caused by nephrotic syndrome, cirrhosis, hypoproteinemia, etc.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with critical illness; Patients younger than 18 years old.
