Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient was over 18 years old, and the chief complaint was maxillary posterior tooth loss; 2. Panoramic radiographs or CBCT scans (within 12 months) show < 5 mm residual bone height; 3. The maxillary sinus opening was unobstructed, the sinus floor was flat, the mucosa was not significantly thickened, and there were no cysts in the sinus cavity; 4. There is no acute or chronic inflammation of adjacent teeth such as periapical periodontitis, and the periodontal condition of the whole mouth is good; 5. Patients can tolerate external maxillary sinus lift and implant implantation; 6. The patient has the willingness to treat and can actively cooperate with treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Untreated or untreated periodontal disease or other oral diseases; 2. Patients with severe cardiovascular disease; 3. Poorly controlled diabetes mellitus; 4. Uncontrolled hypertension and other systemic diseases; 5. Patients with heavy smoking; 6. Bruxism; 7. Pregnancy or lactation.
