Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient group: Age between 18 and 45 years old; female and male; right handedness; Chineses; Primary school education or above; patients with first-episode depression who were drug-naive or who were previously treated with a single antidepressant; meet the criteria of depression in DSM-5; participants are voluntary to participate the study. The depression with anhedonia group is defined as SHAPS scores more than 5; the depression without anhedonia group is defined as SHAPS scores equal or less than 4. Healthy control group: Age between 18 and 45 years old; female and male; right handedness; Chineses; Primary school education or above; never diagnosed with any mental disorders in DSM-5; participants are voluntary to participate the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient group:Diagnosed with brain organic diseases, neurological diseases, serious endocrine or metabolic diseases; had a craniocerebral injury with a history of coma; diagnosed with other psychiatric disorders in DSM-5; unable to complete the test effectively; fitted with fixed metal dentures, pacemakers, or metal prostheses. Healthy control group: Diagnosed with any mental disorders in DSM-5; Diagnosed with any brain organic diseases, neurological diseases, serious endocrine or metabolic diseases; had a craniocerebral injury with a history of coma; had a family history of psychiatric disorders; had taken any medication to treat psychiatric disorders; fitted with fixed metal dentures, pacemakers, or metal prostheses.
