18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. over 18 years old; 2. cough lasting no less than 8 weeks and with a normal chest radiograph; 3. FEV1/FVC>70%, predicted FEV1 >80%; 4. No corticosteroid was used in the past 4 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Current smokers or ex-smokers of <= 2 years; 2. Pregnant or lactating patients; 3. A history of acute upper respiratory tract infection within 8 weeks; 4. Use of inhaled or oral corticosteroid within 4 weeks, or use of montelukast and long-acting ß2-agonists in the previous week; 5. patients with severe cardiac insufficiency, severe liver and kidney dysfunction, mental and cognitive dysfunction, hearing and communication impairment; 6. Multiple causes of chronic cough.
