Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Septic shock was diagnosed according to the Sepsis 3.0 Criteria; 2. Aged 18-90 years; 3. Informed consent was obtained.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The terminal state that cannot be recovered (such as refractory shock) or death is expected within 24 hours; 2. Aortic valve disease, aortic valve replacement and other conditions that affect VTI measurement; 3. Poor image or intolerant to echocardiography examination; 4. ECMO, IABP or cardiac pacemaker and other cardiac assistive devices that affect the evaluation of ventricular-arterial coupling; 5. No central venous catheter or invasive arterial pressure monitoring; 6. Atrial fibrillation was occurring at the time of diagnosis of septic shock.
