Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged > 18 years old, gender unlimited; 2. Conform to the definition of severe COVID-19 in the Practical Diagnosis and Treatment Recommendations for Adult novel coronavirus Infection in Peking Union Medical College Hospital: (1) Respiratory distress, respiratory rate (RR) >= 30 times/min; (2) In resting state, refers to oxygen saturation <= 93%; (3) Arterial partial oxygen pressure (PaO2)/oxygen uptake concentration (FiO2) <= 300 mmHg (1mm Hg=0.133 kPa); (4) Lung imaging showed that the range of lung involvement was more than 50%; 3. Sign the informed consent form voluntarily.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient or his family members are unable to cooperate and voluntarily give up or refuse to accept treatment; 2. Conform to the definition of mild, moderate and critical COVID-19 in the Practical Diagnosis and Treatment Recommendations for Adult novel coronavirus Infection in Peking Union Medical College Hospital; 3. Complicated with serious heart diseases, such as acute myocardial infarction, malignant arrhythmia, heart failure, etc; 4. Complicated with severe lung diseases, such as acute pulmonary embolism, acute attack of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, etc; 5. Complicated with severe hematological diseases such as lymphoma, leukemia, aplastic anemia, etc; 6. And other patients assessed by the experimenter as unfit for the study.
