Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CD patients who undergoing bowel surgery between July 2011 and February 2017 at IBD Center, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Medical School of Zhejiang University were prospectively recruited.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bowel surgery was defined as any operation leading to intestinal resection, and thus strictureplasty, surgery for perianal disease, and other minor surgical procedures were excluded.
